A Stylish Staycation
Whilst there is currently a sense of excitement in the air – thanks in part to Gareth and the England boys - about normality resuming (in some form or another!) soon, one thing that is looking likely is that for many of us, holidays this year will mean staying closer to home. With a fantastic selection of towns and cities to explore in England that boast masses of culture, history, glamour (and we reckon a good few nights out!) – we believe there is so much to look forward to in booking a few nights away in our very own country.
Getting Back To Work After Lockdown
For many of us working from home during lockdown our spare rooms and kitchen tables have become the new office space. For some, home working was already the norm, but if pre-Covid you were used to being part of a busy office, with structured hours, then the last 12 months will have felt incredibly strange. And just as we all got used to Zoom and Google/Teams meetings (barring the odd mishap with errant children/pets/unsuitable wall art!), for some, it’s now time to pack up our laptop bags and head back to the office.

As we move into the new year, there’s no slowing down and we’re moving full steam ahead in our search for greener horizons!
Four Outfit Ideas For A Stylishly Sharp Festive Season!
At the time of penning this piece, no-one is really sure where their Christmas or New Year’s celebrations will take place this year. Yet two things are for sure; Santa Claus will still be out delivering gifts into the wee small hours of the 25th, and Auld Lang Syne will still be belted out when the clock strike’s 12 on the 31st, and for these occasions, we think it’s never been more worth dressing up for.

To celebrate the festive season and add a little cheer into our day, today we wanted to bring together some of our favourite pieces of our 2020 collection, designed to inspire your present purchasing.
What to consider when bagging a blazer this season
While we spoke in length about which style of outerwear is in vogue this season in our last post, with British weather being as unpredictable as it’s renowned for, there’s always space for a lightweight throw-on to smarten up any outfit. Which is where the blazer steps into the spotlight.
What’s Trending: The Finishing Coat

A Twist On Tweed
Long gone are the days of tweed only being pulled out of the wardrobe for a spot of shooting in the countryside or worn by your old university professor, complete with suede elbow patches that had seen better days. This season, tweed takes a modern twist and here at Skopes we have created a capsule collection of tweed tailoring that is not only stylish, but functional, versatile, and long wearing.
The 5 Fashion Rules to consider for a stylish Prom
Regardless of whether this year brings Prom, or the event is rescheduled until next year, for many young men this milestone moment is often the first time you will wear a suit. There will be photographs galore, people to impress and the perfect occasion to go out in style. Here at Skopes we understand just how important that first suit really is, which is why our collection doesn’t just stop at Dad’s wardrobe. With that said, we wanted to share 5 fashion “rules” of Prom – actually forget that, let’s call them sartorial guidelines instead. If there’s ever a night for the rules to be broken, it’s Prom…
How To Navigate Your Working From Home Wardrobe
As being stationed at home becomes the norm for many workers for the foreseeable future, dressing for the “office” has been harder to navigate than a group Zoom call. And while the first couple of weeks of lockdown presented the opportunity to work solely in jogging bottoms and shirt up top in preparation for an unexpected video call, we soon realised the way we dressed affected how we worked. It’s fair to say that dressing the part affects not only confidence and productivity, but it also adds a sense of routine to what could often be described as an unpredictable climate. So how do we embrace a new working from home wardrobe? We'll take you through some ways you can look stylish whilst you're not in the office.
